ANKER-CLINIC can be fully disinfected thanks to the backing that is impermeable to liquids and to the solution-dyed fibre from Invista, Antron Lumena, that we use. This carpet was tested in actual practice for 2 years in a Düren hospital by the Institute for Hygiene and Environmental Medicine at the RWTH Aachen and by the Scientific Association for Environmental Protection (wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Umweltschutz or WGU).

We offer a range of other attractive grades of solution-dyed fibres, but without the backing finish that makes them impermeable to liquids, for use in any areas that are not subject to the strict hygiene requirements of hospitals, like, for example, care homes, rehab clinics and retirement homes.
