Social responsibility – made in Germany –
Made in Germany

Taking responsibility for mankind and the environment has been a matter of course at the family-owned ANKER-TEPPICHBODEN company throughout its 150+ year tradition.

The company founder Leopold Schoeller (1792–1884) not only had his business activities in his sights but he had always viewed religious and social commitment as part of his core values: among other things, he founded the “Knaben-Familien-Schule”, today’s Düren grammar school, “Gymnasium am Wirteltor”, for which he donated a plot of land ten years later so that a separate building could be constructed. Long before the introduction of state institutions, he established a health fund for his employees and set up a foundation for invalids and new mothers.
